England and Wales publish who owns commercial land and which overseas companies hold titles. Institrace holds those registers next to the people who run public bodies.
We only index public bodies. A supplier, developer, or care-home Ltd appears when a public file or a published identifier attaches it. We do not run a private-company directory.

How it works
HM Land Registry releases the Commercial and Corporate Ownership Data set and the Overseas Companies Ownership Data set. Together they describe titles held by UK companies and by overseas corporates in England and Wales: proprietor name, company number where it exists, address, tenure. Institrace loads the national files. There is no local filter when those files are loaded. A title in Southport and a title in Westminster sit in the same table.
The layer is not a standalone land search. Proprietor names and company numbers are joined to tracked public bodies and to people already in the officer graph. An overseas company that owns land in England is not an isolated row. It is a node that can sit beside a director, a PSC, a committee mention and a British territory filing where those records exist. That join is the product. The raw CCOD and OCOD files are public. The join against a live governance corpus is not something the Registry, Companies House or a council website will do for you.
What it does
It lets a researcher ask who owns the land, then immediately ask who runs the organisations attached to that owner, and whether those names appear in minutes and registers. Property, control and public office stop being three separate jobs. For due diligence on a counterparty, or for anyone tracing how a public body’s world touches the title register, that is the difference between a data dump and intelligence.
