Change how the site looks

Display, in the header and the footer, sets the text size (standard, large or larger), the contrast (standard or high) and motion (standard or reduced). Signed in, your choice is saved on your account. Signed out, it stays in this browser. The site also follows your device’s reduced motion setting.

Display

You can zoom to 400%. Pages reflow to one column. A wide table scrolls sideways inside its own box: move to it with Tab, then use the arrow keys. On a long page, Back to top takes you to the start.

How we tested

On 3 and 4 October 2026 we tested the home page, the Money page, the list of public bodies, a body page, a paper, Search, Sign in, Start trial, Pricing and a guide, at desk width and at phone width.

Each page went through the axe-core checker, then a check by hand: keyboard only, headings, landmarks, form labels and errors, table headers, link text, images, colour contrast, zoom to 200% and 400%, reduced motion, and the names a screen reader announces.

The pages we tested meet WCAG 2.2 AA, apart from the issues below.

Known issues

• Papers are the public bodies’ own documents, many of them PDF scans. A scan may have no headings or text a screen reader can use. We cannot change the original. The paper page gives its title, body, date and a link to the source.
• The network map is a drawing. Every connection on it is also listed in the tables under the map.
• Pages for seat holders (Desk, Pack, Investigations, Watches and Account) were not part of this test. We will test them next and update this page.
• Links to a body’s own website open pages we do not control.
