To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of accepting risk on shortening Safety Of Life At Sea trials in order to bring Royal Navy ships into service more quickly.

The Ministry of Defence has made no assessment of shortening Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) trials in order to bring Royal Navy ships into service more quickly.
