To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Ministry of Defence annual report and accounts 2025 to 2026, Losses, what constituted the £1,027,000 fruitless payment in relation to the Project costs in relation DPDY 3 Basin.

The payment in relation to DPDY 3 Basin was for project costs following an initial solution, that was subsequently found to be unsuitable and could not be progressed.
