To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, for how many months has the Independent Chair of the Parliamentary and Political Service Committee been vacant; and what is the status of the replacement.

In July 2026, The Rt Hon Baroness Winterton of Doncaster DBE stepped down as the Chair of the Parliamentary and Political Service Honours Committee. A competition to appoint her successor will launch in Autumn 2026.
