To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of trends in the level of brownfield site utilisation in new housing construction.

My Department publishes a release entitled ‘Land use change’ on previously developed (brownfield) land. Yearly data is available from 2013-14 to 2021-22 and can be found here. My Department is working to update the land use statistics, which includes the ...
