To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the total expenditure by (a) her Department and (b) National Highways was on the A46 Newark Bypass scheme prior to the cancellation of the Skanska contract.

The A46 Newark Bypass is currently under review and therefore the costs remain commercially sensitive.
