To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to paragraph 7 of the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, what is his Department's planned timetable for making the £500 million modernisation fund available.

The £500 million modernisation fund announced in the Defence Investment Plan published on 30 June 2026 will be made available this financial year 2026-27.
