To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Press release “High-speed boats and new drones for elite Commando Force under Defence Investment Plan” published on 28 June 2026, under what project name is the Commando Insertion Craft bein
Answer
The Commando Insertion Craft is currently referred to in the Defence Investment Plan as the Joint Commando Craft. As the project matures this name may change but there are no immediate plans for any such change.
