To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will provide an update on the plan to implement a new offsets regime to support UK defence companies.
Answer
As set out in the Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS), the Ministry of Defence is currently exploring an offset policy to back British businesses and help deliver the DIS vision to make defence an engine for growth.
