To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what steps she has taken to with Cabinet colleagues to help ensure the effective enforcement of animal welfare legislation.

Defra will work collaboratively across Government where needed, bringing together officials to share information, align approaches and support effective delivery on the ground.
