To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 18 June 2026 to Question 10070 on F-35 Aircraft: Engines, what his planned timetable is for finalising the timeline of remaining upgrades to Technology Refresh 3 standard.
Answer
The timings for the transition of the UK’s F-35 fleet from Technology Refresh 2 to Technology Refresh 3 standard are under active consideration. Decisions will be made in line with the wider global F-35 programme.
