To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what steps her Department is taking to (a) simplify and (b) reduce the cost of ATA carnets for (i) touring artists, (ii) musicians, (iii) performers and (iiii) crews.

The Government has committed to supporting touring artists. We introduced digital ATA carnets on 1st June 2026, making the UK one of the first countries to do so alongside the EU, Switzerland and Norway. Digitising carnets replaces a paper-based process w...
