To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many (a) military, (b) police, (c) security forces and (d) intelligence personnel were (i) charged and (ii) prosecuted in Northern Ireland for a criminal offence connected to the Troubles between 1969 and1998

The Ministry of Defence does not hold comprehensive records of personnel charged or prosecuted in Northern Ireland for Troubles-related offences between 1969 and 1998, or equivalent figures for police, security or intelligence personnel.
