To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what criteria were used by the Environment Agency to assess the 50 approved recovery sites for end-of-life tyres in India; and whether those criteria applied the principles of Environm

The criteria include having the relevant permits, authorisations and contracts in place to move and process waste tyres. Approved recovery sites must have the Indian tyres extended producer responsibility registration. Evidence of these is assessed on a ...
