To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, what assessment her Department has made of the extent to which regulatory barriers affect the development and adoption of innovative technologies in the UK.

Through the Regulatory Innovation Office, Government has heard from businesses that barriers such as fragmentation between regulators and unclear regulatory pathways hold back adoption of innovative technologies. The RIO works to identify and address spec...
