To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the costs and benefits of introducing a unique application number for asylum applicants.

We do not consider the use of a single Unique Application Number for asylum applicants to be a viable option, and there are currently no plans to take this forward.As you are aware, the Atlas caseworking system is now fully rolled out with continuous impr...
