To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many road traffic collisions in each of the last five years involved a driver whose eyesight was a contributory factor.

Data on road injury collisions in Great Britain is reported by the police via a system known as STATS19. Reporting officers can assign up to 6 factors which in their opinion may have contributed to the collision occurring, including where ‘driver or rider...
