To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what guidance her Department has given to police forces regarding the enforcement of hate crime legislation.

The police are operationally independent and work in line with College of Policing guidance to respond to hate crime.However, the Government expects the police to take strong actions against these crimes and work with the Crown Prosecution Service to ensu...
