To ask His Majesty's Government how many complaints referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service in the past 12 months were dismissed without consideration of their merits under the provisions of DISP 3.3.4A(5) of the Financial Conduct Authority Handbook,

This is a matter for the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), which is an independent, non-governmental body. The FOS will respond to the Noble Lord by letter, and a copy of the letter will be placed in the Library of the House of Lords.
