To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to the press release entitled Cost of living boost with free bus travel for children and targeted food tariff cuts, published on 20 May 2026, what measures will be used to assess the effectivenes

The Department will collect and consider relevant data on the scheme from August and in subsequent months, enabling an assessment of the scheme’s impact.
