To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what steps he is taking to ensure the publication of regional substation capacity data to support demand-side connections for housing and industry.

DESNZ is working closely with Ofgem and the National Energy System Operator (NESO) to improve demand-side connections, including through Ofgem’s End-to-End Review in which the regulator has committed to publishing a Demand Capacity Register. Alongside thi...
