To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many staff at HM Prison and Probation Service have currently been suspended with pay for more than one year.

As of 21 May 2026, there were 51 staff in His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) who have been suspended with pay for more than one year. These figures include staff who have been continuously suspended on pay since before 21 May 2025. As at t...
