To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps he is taking to ensure that privacy protections do not prevent public scrutiny of political donors.

The government is strengthening the rules on political donations to increase transparency and accountability, protect against foreign or illicit influence, and maintain public confidence in our democratic system. Reportable donations are already published...
