To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential merits of including Water Hyacinth in the list of Species of Special Concern.

Water hyacinth, along with 65 other non-native species, has been risk assessed and is listed as an invasive non-native species of special concern. The risk assessment for water hyacinth can be found here: https://www.nonnativespecies.org/assets/Uploads/RA...
