To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what data her Department holds on the (i) volume and (ii) cost of missed MOT appointments in each of the last three financial years.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) supervises the delivery of light vehicle MOTs in Great Britain through its approved MOT garages. However, as these are private garages, DVSA does not collate overall data on the volume and cost of missed MOT ...
