To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many and what proportion of staff in her Department have (a) office-based, (b) hybrid and (c) remote-working contracts.

As of February 2026, 486 employees of the department (6%) work remotely because their roles require them to be based at a distance from a departmental office.All other employees, apart from a small number with homeworking as a reasonable adjustment, are o...
