To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps she is taking to improve transparency in the way crime data is published.

The Office for National Statistics has primary responsibility for publishing information on crime statistics.They publish progress updates on their crime statistics improvement programme, with the last update in July 2025, available here: Improving crime ...
