To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what steps his Department is taking to increase administrative efficiency in scheduling parole hearings.

We have interpreted the reference to an ‘18-month review cycle’ to be the frequency that cases are referred to the Parole Board and the review cycle varies depending on the type of sentence being served. Standard Determinate Sentence prisoners who have be...
