To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have been prosecuted for espionage in the last 12 months.

From 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, eight people have been convicted of espionage offences.These convictions were contrary to section 3 of the National Security Act 2023, section 1 of the Official Secrets Act 1911 and conspiracy to spy offences cont...
