To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what evidence her Department has on the number of parents unable to (a) increase their working hours and (b) return to work due to limited access to (i) affordable and (ii) reliable out-of-school childcare.

The government is committed to deliver on its pledge to provide a free breakfast club in every state-funded school with primary-aged children, which will provide a free, healthy breakfast as well as 30 minutes childcare. Breakfast clubs remove barriers to...
