To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, if his Department will take steps to require online platforms to verify contact details for companies on their platforms.

The Online Safety Act ensures online services remove illegal content, including fraudulent content. Ofcom, as the independent regulator, is responsible for setting out in codes of practice the steps services can take to comply with their safety duties.The...
