To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many and what proportion of applicants for (a) asylum or (b) refugee status who have had their application refused have been granted humanitarian leave to remain in the last 2 years.

The Home Office publishes data on asylum in the ‘Immigration System Statistics Quarterly Release’. Data on outcomes of claims, including those granted humanitarian leave, is published in table Asy_D02 of the asylum detailed datasets. Information on how to...
