To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of amending the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme to include chronic primary pain as a compensable condition.

Under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme, pain and suffering are already included in awards for all conditions, the aim being a holistic approach to compensation. How chronic pain could be better addressed under the Scheme is currently being considered ...
