To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether his Department has made an assessment of the potential merits of targeted screening for chronic kidney disease high-risk populations.

The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) previously examined the evidence for a population screening programme for kidney disease in 2011 and recommended that a national screening programme should not be introduced. This was because, amongst other thi...
