To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether his Department is taking steps to help support the operation of desalination plants in Gaza.

Recognising the vital role that desalination plants play in providing clean drinking water to civilians in Gaza, the UK supported efforts to establish a Gaza Central Desalination Programme through the World Bank. This work is currently on hold due to the ...
