To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what criteria will her Department use to determine whether scheduled elections in 2026 (a) will and (b) will not be postponed in the context of the ongoing two-tier local governm

There are no plans to postpone council elections in 2026. The government’s starting point is for all elections to go ahead unless there is strong justification.
