To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment her Department has made of the potential impact of (a) climate change and (b) extreme weather events on the railway network.

Network Rail is undertaking a programme of climate change adaptation pathways across the network to develop a long-term strategic adaptation plan and identify priority areas for further adaptation investment. This approach will help identify those parts o...
