To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether he has made an assessment of the potential merits of introducing a litter and fly-tipping champion in Government.

This Government has not made an assessment of the potential merits of introducing a litter and fly-tipping champion in Government. Local authorities are usually best placed to respond to litter and fly-tipping problems in a way tailored to the communities...
