To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will make an assessment of the adequacy of financial investigation practices by police forces in cases where significant funds remain unrecovered.

The Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 contains significant powers to assist police forces in identifying, freezing and recovering criminal assets. Police forces utilise confiscation orders to deprive offenders of the proceeds of their criminal conduct. A confisc...
