To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether he plans to provide funding for the additional (a) diagnostics and (b) treatment arising from the detection of early-stage lung cancer through the national lung cancer screening programme.

Funding for national lung screening is set by NHS England. The Department has set stretching targets for the National Health Service to improve cancer performance next year, and the Spending Review prioritised investment into the health service, with a £2...
