To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will take steps to ensure that council staff are unable to work from abroad.

Local authorities are independent employers responsible for the management of their own workforces, including where staff can work from. It is not the responsibility of central government to micromanage this. Councils are, however, expected to manage thei...
