To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what discussions his Department has had with supermarkets on the inheritance tax changes to agricultural land and property.

Defra regularly engages with supermarkets and producers on a range of issues pertinent to the food supply chain including food supply, environmental policies and food security. However, IHT policy is primarily under the jurisdiction of HMT as it is a tax ...
