To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment her Department has made of the adequacy of Personal Independence Payments in covering additional costs associated with disability.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) provides a contribution to the extra costs that may arise from a long-term disability or health condition. PIP is a non-contributory, non-means-tested, additional cost benefit and can be worth over £9,500 a year, tax fr...
