To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment he has made of the impact of family farms on food security.

Defra does not collect any farming data based on whether farms are owned by a family. Estimates are produced based on the economic size of farms (based on Standard Outputs*). The latest estimates show that in England in 2022, a small number of economicall...
