To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, how many local authority owned leisure facilities have been sold in each of the last five years.

Since 2019, 89 Health and Fitness facilities owned by Local Authorities have closed. Over the same period, 83 Health and Fitness facilities have opened.The breakdown for closures per year is as follows:2019: 232020: 162021: 152022: 162023: 112024: 2 (as o...
