To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the impact of the Soft Drinks Industry Levy on children's (a) oral health and (b) associated dental care.

No specific assessment has been made. Sugar consumption is the main risk factor for tooth decay. Reducing consumption of foods and drinks that contain sugar, alongside adequate exposure to fluoride, including daily toothbrushing with fluoride toothpaste, ...
