To ask His Majesty's Government what estimate they have made of the projected savings from the introduction of means testing on the Winter Fuel Payment in the event that the number of those claiming Pension Credit increases from its current level (1) to 8

No such estimate has been made. Final savings will be certified and published by the Office for Budget Responsibility after the Autumn Budget on 30th October, taking account of any behavioural response and the estimated numbers of people who will receive ...
